“Operation okoa mlevi” is a slogan always used by Seventh-day Adventist Church Greater Rift Valley Conference, it is an initiative which is meant to reach out to those members of the community who have been addicted to alcohol and drugs. This year in collaboration with county govenment of Nandi, NACADA and other stakeholders the workshop was held at Kapsabet school for the deaf. The programme is meant to have these people change their mindset by having lessons that would make them embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ and through the moving of the holy spirit be able to undesrand that their bodies was designed to be used to glorify God.
The CS Trade and Industrialization Hon. Kiplimo araap Lagat together with CS Health and Sanitation Mrs. Ruth Koech graced the occasion.
